I never really understood why people had their lights up way past new years. I always thought, "Why do they have them up still?" I thought the deadline was New Years Day: the new year. Heck, Walmart changes their seasons even before the holiday is up! This year, I decided to put up lights in my classroom to be festive. It is now the 14th and January, and they are still up. All of a sudden, the answer dawned on me: Laziness. It took so much effort to put them up, that I just don't want to take them down. Consider them Valentine's Day lights now.
