Today I went to my very first Manitoba Moose, and my very first Abbotsford Heat hockey game. It was interesting to see the Calgary Flames affiliated Abbotsford team play a "home game" against the Vancouver Canucks affiliated visiting team. I'm a Canucks fan, and simply cannot cheer for a team affiliated with our rival, even if its a minor team. The game was great and exciting, the seats were phenomenal first row tickets. At the end of the game, it was awesome to cheer the visiting Moose to an overtime victory. I took both shots, and felt it captured the moment.
